Welcome to our brand new website:

We took over the Bridge Inn at the start of 2010. We have a clear vision for what we are trying to achieve: a friendly pub, with a warm welcome, and delicious home-cooked food. Wherever possible we use seasonal, Scottish, fresh, local produce, and everything is freshly prepared. We grow our own herbs and vegetables (we are currently using our own rhubarb in the kitchen). We have a small herd of saddleback pigs, and last weekend we featured roast pork and hand-reared pork chops on the menu.  We cure our own salmon.

We know that many of you have no interest in football, so rest assured the restaurant and pub will be open for business as usual, but we will be showing live matches all through the World Cup campaign in the bar. The tournament kicks off on the afternoon of Friday 11 June, so we will be holding a World Cup kick-off party from 7pm on Friday 11th June. There will be promotions, prizes and a chance to cheer on your chosen team. One lucky winner will receive a star prize on the night of the final on 11th July.
